The Argyll Fyne Art Group
The Argyll Fyne Art Group meets on alternate Wednesdays at Minard Village Hall. The session starts at 10.00am and finishes approximately 4.00pm. Members are free to arrive and depart
whenever they wish during this period. There is no annual subscription. Members pay per session to cover the hire of the hall. The Group is open to all levels of ability and all
mediums. Tea, coffee, biscuits are provided but members bring their own lunch.

The Lochgair Garden Group

The group meets regularly in members homes and exchange seeds, plants and arrange group outings to interesting gardens in Argyll.

National Trust for Scotland - Crarae Gardens
One of Britain's finest examples of a Himalayan-style Woodland Garden. The property is open all year round, the visitor center and shop is open from April until October. The visitor centre offers a range of teas and coffees, home-made soup, sandwiches and sweet treats.
Friends of Crarae
The Friends of Crarae actively support the National Trust for Scotland by donating funds for specific projects and items outwith the normal budgets of the Trust.
Membership is UK wide, and local members can become more involved by volunteering to assist NTS staff with the garden upkeep. The Friends Work Crew meet on Thursday mornings and volunteer a 4 hour stint. To be added to the crew email contact@friendsofcrarae.com for a volunteer form. You'll get to meet Jock the collie (supervisor) and John Hall our Chairman, Victoria our Secretary and other local members of the committee and Friends.
In return for an annual subscription (beginning 1st March) of a minimum of £15 and/or a supporting donation, Friends have free entry to the Gardens any time and receive an invitation to attend the AGM and other events. Application forms can be obtained from the website.

Minard Community Trust
Minard Community Trust meets on an ad hoc basis. They own Minard Village Shop, Minard Village Hall and the Trust has input into Minard Community Woodland. They also have a new website which can be accessed by clicking HERE Minutes from their past meetings can be accessed via their website.

Minard Village Coffee Mornings
The coffee mornings are usually held on the second Thursday of every month (check out the Calendar for details) in Minard Village Hall, starting at 10:30 am
Lochgair Association
Lochgair Association was established in 2002 originally as a local interest group to interact with Scottish Water. In 2019 it reconstituted itself as The Lochgair Association (SCIO) to enable it to expand on its role of improving community facilities and amenities, and promoting recreational activities and volunteer services. Lochgair Lunch Club
The club meets in the Church Hall on the 3rd Friday of each month, October to March. New members are welcomed!
Lochgair Tai Chi Classes
Tai Chi lessons are held in the Church Hall on Wednesdays (Advanced), starting at 10:30. New members are welcomed!
