Grants

The commuinity council can award small micro grants of up to £250 for individuals or £500 for organisations in the community council area. Click on the link below to download the application form.

The micro grants are funded by the Ventient Energy A'Chruach Wind Farm Community Fund. Larger grants are available from the fund and applications for these are managed by Foundation Scotland.

*Please note that any grant application which involves the purchase of equipment should have storage requirements confirmed with either Minard Community Trust or Lochgair Association in advance of submission.*

Micro Grant Success Stories:

 

Jennifer Deane, a community and council member, successfully passed her JogScotland Leadership in Running FItness Training with support and funding from West Loch Fyne Community Council and Foundation Scotland. 

 

She has set up a community Couch to 5k Running Group and is offering 2 weekly sessions free of charge to anyone who would like to attend.
